Indie Jake
Hi I’m Indie Jake.
I listen to a lot of music. Too much, even. Yeah that’s possible. It’s a side-effect of my job. I travel a lot. I drive a lot. And that means: I don’t read a lot. I don’t watch TV. Or movies. Not a whole lot, anyway. But 20 hours a week, I’m probably listening to something new. Or something old. Or, well, something. Anything.
I spent five years with WUVT 90.7fm (www.wuvt.org) as a DJ. New music DJ. Five years. Worked with a guy named Drew (linesthroughlines.wordpress.com) booking and working shows for several years. That’s a lot of music. So now, I spend my free time (and dollars!) collecting, absorbing, discussing, reviewing, listening, and consuming all the exciting new music I can get my hands (and ears!) on.
This blog is a collection of my music related thoughts. At least, the ones that were meaningful enough to be marked. Earmarket.

As for me, I’m Dani. I too worked at WUVT fm, though only for a year and a half. Mostly, I’m here in an administrative capacity but don’t think I won’t throw in my musical two-cents from time to time.
